Privacy Policy

1. What data is processed, and where?

• Your plans and settings (walls, rooms, measurements, imported background plans, preferences) are stored locally in your browser or your device (local storage). They are never sent to a server, unless you deliberately use the sync cloud below.
• The vault (automatic backup) writes copies of your plans into a folder on your computer that you choose yourself.
• No account is required to use the app.

2. The sync cloud (optional)

To move a plan from one device to another, Kotelio offers temporary storage. If you use it: the plan is encrypted on your device with your sync code before being sent. The server only holds encrypted data it cannot read, and knows neither your name nor your e-mail. Without that code, no one — not even us — can open the plan you deposited.

3. Device permissions

Some features request permission, only when you use them, and everything is processed on the device:

• Camera — for augmented-reality survey and measurement aiming. No image is saved or transmitted.
• Bluetooth — to connect your laser distance meter (Leica DISTO, Bosch GLM…). The measurements stay in the plan.
• Motion sensors — to steer your view during the VR walkthrough and measure aiming angles.

4. Cookies, trackers, advertising

No tracking cookie, no advertising tracker, no audience-analytics tool. The only storage used is your browser's technical local storage, which holds your plans and your preferences — on your device.

5. Purchases

If you buy a subscription via Google Play, the transaction is handled by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy; we neither receive nor store your payment data. For a direct purchase, the transaction is handled by our payment provider, without your banking details passing through us.

6. Your rights & contact

Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or erase on our side: your plans belong to you, and you can delete them from your device. For any question: contact@kotelio.com.
